Hey guys! I would love to have your input on a question I have regarding group submissions!
I would love to see this group be inclusive and friendly, but I also want to make sure that we are not so inclusive that the group loses focus on it's theme. What I would like to ask the members is whether or not the Sonic the hedgehog art style fits into Glamfur.
I'd love to hear your two cents!
I realize that this style is a bit tricky to define, but I think with your help I can develop some guidelines to help people understand what Glamfur is. Feel free to add to the conversation with your opinions on this subject as well!
As a contributor here, I hope to try and keep this group as interesting and active as I can in the time I have available to me, and I think this will be a great first step.

Ok, so things are pretty much up and running with the website I've been working on, and Saturnine has the new forum all set up. We've had a new group set up and it's been accepting submissions and members for a while now.

:iconxsugarpill:, :iconstar-mine:, and myself have been working on some things (mostly I've been talking with saturnine), including a forum and a new lj community... we kind of want to use the term "Pretty Monsters" as opposed to "Glamfur" since it's a much less limiting term. I personally like it a lot more and it applies more to my demon characters as well which rocks.. BUT ANYWAY.

So I bought Glamfur.com! I moved the oekaki to that site accordingly, and you may now come and join us to draw here at the Scary Monsters Oekaki Board! Everything is still there and should work, if anything seems amiss, please let me know!
As for the site itself, it's nothing special at the moment, just links and a temporary layout until I put together something much more fabulous. I forgot a link to the lj community, shame on me, so I'll be updating that later...

After hours of poking at code and choosing obnoxious colors I got an Oekaki board going for us!

Thank you for all your input guys! I think what would be best, judging by your reactions, is if there is a rule with exceptions, like: "Sonic style fan characters will not be accepted in gallery submissions, but special exceptions will be made on a case by case basis if the submission fits closely enough with other criteria."
